Prom Dresses Size Measure Guide

Bust

• This is different from your Bra Size.
• Wear an unpadded Bra (dresses all have a built-in bra)
• Breathe naturally and have arms relax at sides
• Take your tape and measure around the bust at the fullest point
• Make sure the tape measure is level all the way around
• remember to keep your index finger between you and the tape to avoid being too tight

Waist

• Measure around the narrowest part of your waist at the natural waistline
• Simply bend to one side to find a crease which is your waistline
• Do not hold your breath. Breathe naturally
• Keep the tape measure parallel to the floor
• Keep the tape slightly loose to leave breathing room

Hips

• Stand naturally with your feet together
• Measure around your hip at your fullest part of your bottom
• Simply record the maxim from a couple of measurements when you are not sure
• Please pay much attention to the hip size when you need a mermaid dress

Hollow to Hem

• Stand straight with bare feet together
• Began at the hollow space between the collarbones and pull tape straight down to where your dress hem should hit(including train if there is one)

Not my style but very pretty

If I was shaped a little differently this dress would have been absolutely perfect. If you have a little more bootay than the average person it’s not the dress for you which was my case but still pretty

Beautiful gown!

This is a beautiful gown - it's more modest than we expected, which is good. We were nervous that the lace midsection would be too revealing, but it has enough embellishment that it doesn't look naked. My daughter is short (5' 1") if she chooses this gown, she'll have to custom order it. She tried a size 8, which is her usual size, although sometimes she's a 6- so we went up a little. Because she is short, the slit on the skirt was closer to mid thigh, which we liked. Some slits in these skirts go really too high that you can't sit comfortably without issues of modesty. The pleats down the side are really nice - they add some dimension. This dress might be her final choice. It's fun and youthful for prom, but less revealing than others.

Best fitting dress! Best design as well

Very satisfied with this dress, most likely the dress I will buy for formal. The details on the sheer stomach area of the dress were so pretty, the slit is also at a very comfortable height, not too high and not too low. The bust area was also tight enough and made the area look better. The back is also very unique and neat.
